“Que bicho é esse?” A question my parents used to ask me when I showed them things I created when I was a child. They were entities, neither alive nor dead. How to find magical objects from a civilization lost between the past and the future? By creating them.

My work results from an intuitive and experimental process. From a research into composition, scale and a process of collecting and preserving elements as basic building blocks. The impulse, the intention, and the choice, conscious and unconscious, guide the creation and compose the objects, the morphological worlds I create, the structures of the unconscious. My work is a mutant, and one doesn’t ask a mutant what it is or what it’s for. There is something revolutionary in creating something useless.
